Additional Information

Additional information on RDP client for iPad/iPhone:

RDP menu action is auto launched by default, you do not need to start RDP menu action one more time after you have connected with iPhone/iPad G-On client.

1. Make sure you have an RDP-client installed on your iPad/iPhone.

We have tested these, but you may be able to use others:

  • Wyse PocketCloud (Free & Pro) by Wyse Technology
  • iRdesktop by Thinstuff s.r.o.
  • iRemoteDesktop Free by Hana Mobile LLC
  • iTAP RDP, HLW Software Development GmbH

2. The G/On Menu Action cannot start the RDP client (Apple iOS does not allow that). You have to do that manually after you have started the menu action (see also note below).

3. Go to your RDP client

4. Configure it to access the server on IP address 127.0.0.1 and to use port 3389

5. Save the configuration

6. Login (notice that you don’t need to enter userid and password on the RDP client. The G/On Server will provide that on your behalf)

Note: the given RPD client are tested, but not supported by Giritech
