Product Overview

G/On is a client/server software solution that provides end-to-end security and connects users to specific applications, their office PC, virtualized desktops, Citrix servers, Terminal Server, web apps, and portals according to authentication and authorization policies.

The benefit of G/On’s fully integrated architecture is that G/On provides a Single Point of Management (SPM) of all users connecting remotely and directly to company resources. This means centralized

  • Establishment and management of authentication and authorization rules
  • Assignment and management of application access for users and user groups
  • Monitoring, logging and reporting of all access

G/On is the most complete, the most flexible and overall one of the most secure IT access solution on the market. G/On helps you manage: who is connecting when, from which device, which application they use, and from what location the connection originates.

G/On is a fully integrated client/server SW solution addressing all aspects of providing user secure connectivity to applications:

  1. Two-factor authentication based on a hardware factor (something you have) and the User ID and password factor (something you know)
  2. End-point isolation to protect your company network from potential malicious software on the end-point PC and the end-point network
  3. 256 bit AES encrypted and single port communication
  4. Network access control that only accepts connectivity from adopted, approved, and mutually authenticated hardware devices
  5. Identity and application management that gives users direct access to specific applications and single sign on if available and allowed. If G/On is integrated with existing user directories, such as Microsoft Active Directory, access can be based on existing, centrally managed policies.

The G/On administrative tool provides a single point of managing authentication factors as well as application access and authorization. For subsequent audits and controls it also provides detailed logging information that tracks users, access, applications, connectivity attempts, login attempts, IP addresses, machine name etc

G/On is typically used to give secure remote access via the following configurations:

  1. Access to employees’ office PC
  2. Access to virtualized environments like virtual PCs via VmWare
  3. Access to Microsoft Terminal Server - either server desktop or directly to specific applications like email
  4. Access to Citrix Servers – either server desktop or directly to specific applications like email
  5. Employee Laptop connectivity including access from locally installed Outlook and other client/server applications
  6. Secure upload and/or download of files and documents
