"It’s easy to administer groups of users with G/On"

Mobile Medarbejdere

The key to optimizing the efficiency of sales staff, road warriors, traveling executives and other mobile employees is to ensure they can also access their applications while they are away from the office. Being able to check email, enter an order, consult ERP systems, update CRM solutions and other applications “on demand” saves time and streamlines business processes.

One of the biggest factors preventing companies from giving mobile employees remote access to applications, is the cost of making it secure. As the security risks escalate companies find they have to invest in “extra” security solutions as they realize the VPN they originally bought is simply not sufficient. Having to install secure tokens, equip everyone with corporate laptops, start using end-point security solutions and network access control solutions means the IT Department has to manage many different solutions from different vendors to solve different parts of the same problem.

On top of this is the fact that mobile employees often use the same laptop when they are traveling as when they are in the office. This, and other mobile devices, increase the risk of malware entering the network. Spyware and Trojans inadvertently downloaded onto the PC when it is connected to the Internet from outside the network can easily replicate themselves to other PCs and systems when the user returns to the office and logs onto the network.

As an “all-in-one” secure access solution, G/On lets companies support the needs of their mobile employees while reducing the cost and complexity of securing remote connectivity.

And with broadband connectivity widely available, G/On lets companies avoid the risks of using the same PC both outside and inside the office, by having users always connect via G/On.
