G/On communication is based on 256 bit AES encryption.
Data Protection and Integrity
Instead of using VPN tunneling protocols such as IPSec, SSL, L2TP and PTPP, G/On establishes a protected, virtual connection between user and the application. G/On is a client/server application implementing proxy functionality both on the client side (forwarding traffic from application clients to the G/On Client) and on the server side (forwarding traffic from the G/On Server to the application servers). All communication between the client and the server is encrypted by a FIPS validated 256-bit AES encryption.
