Giritech strengthens enterprise features in new G/On release

With features like multi-domain support, Giritech extends value of G/On to also meet the special needs of larger customers.

Copenhagen: Giritech, the innovative developer of secure connectivity solutions, today announced the public release of G/On 3.2. Designed to extend G/On's appeal especially among larger customers, the new release includes a wealth of features that make it even more attractive for companies to extend access to network applications to everyone in their business ecosystem.

G/On 3.2 supports user authentication towards multiple domainswhere all domains are defined in one global catalogue or support the use of multiple AD’s where trust has been defined. This improves deployment options for larger companies.

Another valuable features in G/On 3.2 is that users no longer have to be physically connected to the corporate domain in order to change their password. G/On 3.2 lets them do it remotely.

According to Giritech's CEO, René Stockner: "This makes it easier for IT admins to enforce change of password policies no matter where users are. It also lets users update or change their passwords from any location."

This added convenience should also increase productivity and decrease downtime for users who would otherwise be locked out.

A host other features are included in the release which began shipping May16.
